Classes of Skyrim

One of the amazing factors of character creation in Skyrim is the freedom and versatility of choosing a class, or classes, for your character to master. Each class has skills that characters' can become proficient in. Players' may choose to stick to certain classes to fit their characters, or become a master of all skills and classes.

Warrior/Fighter

  • Bandit
  • Barbarian
  • Blacksmith
  • Blade
  • Dremora/Ebony Warrior
  • Guard
  • Hero
  • Soldier

Characters who choose to pursue a warrior or fighter class build will want to focus on the skills: Two-handed, One-handed, Block, Heavy Armor, Light Armor, and Smithing.

Archer/Rogue

  • Assassin
  • Bard
  • Beggar
  • Fletcher
  • Monk
  • Ranger
  • Thief
  • Scout

Archer and rogue classes put an emphasis into the select skills: Sneak, Pickpocket, Lockpicking, One-handed, Archery, Light Armor, Block, and Speechcraft.

Mage

  • Apothecary
  • Conjurer
  • Destruction Mage
  • Elemental Mage
  • Enchanter
  • Mystic
  • Sorcerer
  • Vigilant

If you pursue the class of a mage then your main focus will be on the school of magic skills: Alchemy, Illusion, Conjuration, Destruction, Restoration, Alteration, and Enchanting.
